I use my keyboard or the MPD18 to play MIDI using the SwarPlug in Sonar. I am also in the learning phase, experimenting with various stuff. If you tell me in what area you are looking for help, I can look into it..Thanks.

Hello Ganesh, I’m a student from Sydney studying Music Production & I was wondering if you could tell me what’s all the gear you have here in this photo?
I’m thinking about creating a home studio for myself & I wanted to know what I’d be looking for to record, mix & mastering music.
I will check back for a reply when I can, otherwise if you could email me your reply, that would be awesome too 🙂

    Thank you,
    Babz.

Here is my latest set of Gear. I have reached this configuration after a lot of trial and errors, and you cannot go wrong with this setup:

    1. Keyboard – Korg M50 (If your Budget allows, Kronos is the best choice available now), with Korg Damper
    2. Focusrite Scarlett USB 18i6 Audio Interface
    3. Yamaha Studio Monitors (pair) HS80 M
    4. Akai MPD 18
    5. AKG Perception 120 Mic
    6. Zoom H4n Recorder
    7. Yamaha Multi DTX 12 (about to change to Roland TD-11 K)
    8. Behringer Mini Mon
    9. Sennheiser HD 280 Pro Headphone
    10. Cakewalk Sonar X2 Producer
    11. A whole Bunch of Waves Effect Plugins
    12. Izotope Ozone 5
    13. Melodyne
    14. BFD-2
    15. Miroslov Philharmonik
    16. Swar Plugin for Indian Instruments
